forget halloween or thanksgiving. christmas displays are put up before either of these holidays. they want you to start buying plastic icicles and blow up santas as soon as possible.

no matter what you believe, christmas celebrates the birth of jesus. if you don't believe in jesus, it seems weird to celebrate christmas. christmas has become one big marketing tool and everyone celebrates. seems weird.
