Tiling always seemed like such an "art" to me. It's not. It's like putting together a juzzle where all the piece fit together. This is seriously the easiest project and very rewarding.
Refinishing Wood Floors
Rent a U-Sand unit and you'll avoid any damage. Use water based finishes. Easy peezey.
Replacing old Windows
measure carefully. remove old window. drill in new guides. pop in window. simple.
New Lawn (sod)
2 weekends and you're done.
Irrigation System
PVC pipe, a few tools, some pipe cement and a plan. You can do this!
Sheet Rocking / Drywall
This one isn't fun. It's heavy and messy. The mudding and taping take a bit of getting used to. Just watch some This Old House and you'll get it.
Molding
Just practice coping joints and you're there. A compound miter saw is a nice tool to have.
