It Was Free
Never under-estimate how much free stuff kicks ass. There was a time where I was going to enough tech conferences and events that I was able to clothe myself almost entirely in schwag shirts and such.
It Means I Can Delay Laundry Another Day
I actually am wearing my last clean shirt right now. But thanks to the fine folks at OML, I can put off laundry untill tomorrow night!
It's Gray, Which Means My Cat's Fur Won't Show On It
My cat has a mixture of black and white fur, meaning it shows up on both dark and light shirts. But gray... that's so in-the-middle, nothing shows up!
It Reminds me of the DotCom Days
When everything was booming, everyone was giving away tshirts, caps, notepads etc left and right. I didn't buy office supplies one semester in college because of this. The free tshirt thing takes me back.
It Will Confuse People
All it says is OnMyList... no URL, nothing to imply it's a website. This will confuse people to no end. I can smile to myself as people walk by, puzzling over my shirt. As the day goes on, the question will stew in the back of their mind. Maybe when they're back at their desk later they'll fire up Google and type it in.
The small, almost subliminal suggestion of the shirt will bring hordes of confused yet curious people to this site!
I Look Damn Sexy In It
I'm a dorky looking guy with a fairly "blah" physique, but this shirt makes me look like I actually have some muscle (not much... just some). This may become my "pick up chicks" shirt.... if my girlfriend says that's alright ;-)
OnMyList
List your pants off!
