They've seen much worse things than a robbery...
So instead of being compassionate, they proceeded to tell me that this was not a bank robbery and had better things to do.
They act as if they have the right to control us...
One of the cops asked to take my keys because I was refusing to get gas at this station after the owner had laughed at me for letting someone steal my gas. I told him no I am going to the store and I was thinking on the way, if the owner gives me any more shit, I am going outside to complain once more. Luckily he didn't and a good Samaritan gave me $5.00 worth of gas knowing the tradegy that I was going through. She's the only one who showed compassion today.
They have no compassion when a civilian is going through tough times....
I blatantly told them that I was unemployed, and that $ meant something to me, and i wanted to be rembursed. Then they provided to let me know they one of them was 100, like that was some kind of stupid joke, and the other said the same thing happened to him( in reverse) he chug a lugged gas one day and thought free gas, then went on his ass way.
They get argumentative when it is duly their time to leave the scene.
After I told this cop that I was going inside, he rudely yells after me, "and don't waste my time", I was almost hysterical, and yes I will be complaining on both of them tomorrow. I have never met such rude cops in my whole entire life, and unless I say something about it now, it will happen again.
They have no idea what it's like to be a civilian any more...
They go around with this assumption that we must know by heart their priorities, and anything that is not their priority, they don't care about. well they can care about this, because I am sure someone better than them is going to be reading this, and thinking bad things about cops after this. Police, if you want to change the poor perception that we have of you, then don't do things like this to us. It only makes us want to not like you even more, when you have co-workers like this. This will be the end of my rant. It's a good one.
