Top Five TV on DVD Releases in September

The Winchesters are back for a wild and scary second season. Three great commentaries, Jared Padalecki's screen test, super gag reel and a the Devil's Road Map which gives you a closer look at each episode with trivia, interviews and one in depth behind the scenes featurette for All Hell Breaks Loose Part Two.

Atlantis is up against the wall once again with the Wraith approaching from one side, the Replicators from another. It's a season leading up to some big changes and not everyone is happy about what's coming up. Great commentaries, Detailed Mission Directives and a look at the visual effects team that really make Atlantis sparkle!

Brennan and her squints are back in another action packed season of Bones. Serial Killer Epps makes life tough for the gang, Booth has a run in with a clown head, Brennan and Hodgins get buried alive and there are family and romantic troubles in store for almost everyone in the cast. No commentary by Boreanez, which is a loss, but fabulous FX featurette full of behind the scenes secrets.

Smallville is going strong with a season that highlights the Justice League, Green Arrow, Zod and life at the Daily Planet. Lana is in love with Lex? And Clark takes steps toward becoming the man he's destined to be. Not the best season of the series, but a must if you've been playing along.

What a packed set this is! Even if you never missed an episode of Heroes, you'll find something you missed when you watch this DVD set. There's just too much going on in this show for one watching! As for extras, this set is packed! There's an uncut pilot episode, cast commentaries, 50 deleted scenes, behind the scenes featurettes and a look at artist Tim Sale who does all of the incredible Heroes paintings. It's like having a whole 'nother season to watch with just the extras! So put this one on your list then carve out plenty of TV watching time. You'll need it.
