Friday Night Lights

Maybe you aren't watching because you think Friday NIght Lights is about football. Well it isn't! Sure the main character is a high school football coach and yes, half the cast is on the team, but this heart-wrenching tale of life in a small town is like nothing else on TV. He and his team of quirky characters hunt down aliens who have slipped in through a rift and harvest the technology to prepare for a coming war. It's scary, it's dark and sexually charged. Guys kissing girls, girls kissing girls, guys kissing guys - everything and anything can happen on Torchwood. It's X-Files meets Angel and it's a rockin' good time.

Charlie Epps is a math genius and he uses his skills to help his FBI agent brother Don crack cases that range from terrorism, to kidnapping and murder. It's an action packed series that is a step away from the norm due to the smart and sophisticated premise and the familial relationship that makes the brothers tick. David Krumholtz and Rob Morrow knock it out of the park week after week and the stylish production values and special effects will leave you wanting more, more, more. Fridays at 10 on CBS.
