6

my view

7

every single thing about central park

boathouse, picnics, free swimming, ice skating, concerts, wandering, shade and the list goes on.
8

manicures are less than $10

there are a few things in nyc that are cheaper than other places.. manicures are one. maybe wine. atm fees. this should be a list.
9

my hood

my seamstress, dry cleaner, doorman, fabio, at the parking garage next door. and all of the little places that we are making our favorites.
10

no fat

i once read that an average person in nyc walks at least 5 miles a day. i have not seen a gym or counted a calorie since moving and still can lose a pound or so. poor nate.

natural beauty

i thought this was more of a colorado thing but girls here wear little make-up and there's this new disregard from bras. not too keen on the later but i'm totally down with natural beauty.

people are quite nice

maybe not the chatty-talk-to-you-in-line-at-the-supermarket nice like the midwest, but very polite, considerate and good to be around.

New york is the best food city in the world (whoa, dodging lightning) Better than Paris, better than San Francisco (whoa that bolt was close!) It just is. end of discussion.

i just hung out with my buddy scott yesterday at a BBQ held in his honor. he and his girlfriend have been living in NYC for a year, now. he says it's amazing that you hardly ever see fat people. being from the midwest, that's a big deal. but, he says the work-ethic there, leaves much for desire.

trying to figure out a way to head up there in the next year, just eat and drink my way through the city. well, that and see some art stuff.
