Introduction
I've just returned from Black Rock City, and I've barely washed the playa dust out of my hair. I'm a little homesick for my place in the desert, so here's how I will relive my fantastic week.
My hair

Thanks to a VERY generous friend, I went to the desert this year with yarn dreads, the official hairstyle of Black Rock City. Okay, it's not really official, but now I can see why so many chicks do their hair up in braids and other special `do's. In my first year, I never touched my hair and came home with some pretty cool blonde dreadlocks. It took two days of tub soaking to get them out. This year I didn't want to think about it, and this new style worked out beautifully. Not only did everyone tell me how cool it was (and who doesn't like to hear constant compliments), but I didn't miss my shampoo at all.
I've still got them right now and have no plans to take them out in the near future.

Pole Dancing
Covered with dust, hot and sweaty, and worn out from the desert sun. Doesn't sound very sexy, does it? Well, try adding a stripper pole, my favorite sexy songs, and a sexy little outfit - maybe a miniskirt and a corset. This is my recipe for a good time. I really enjoyed entertaining my campmates and passersby, and it was even better when we convinced hot chicks off the street to come try out our pole.

The Mechanic
I became closer with all of my campmates, but there was one guy in particular that made my week extra special. This cutie with the chops and bright blue eyes rocked my world...several times. Stay tuned to my blog for a detailed account of our time together.

The rainbow
How often do you get to see a complete rainbow? Now, how often do you get to see it in the desert? After one of the dust storms, we were lucky enough to get a few drops of rain which helped to form one of the most beautiful sights I've seen. I think it was nature's way of trying to compete with all of the other beautiful man-made art in Black Rock City. Good show, Nature!

Dust Storm Domination
Sounds like the name of a porn movie, huh? Well, it should have been one because it was way hotter than anything you can download! In the middle of a dust storm, a few of my campmates introduced me to the world of bondage, domination, and eventually led me to an exciting gangbang. You will definitely be reading about this on my blog. Hope you can handle it.

Big Rig Jig
This was one of the most amazing art pieces in the desert. Sadly, I never got to see it during the day or climb on it, but it was amazing, nonetheless.

Crude Awakening

This was, by far, my favorite art piece at Burning Man this year. I'd seen these giant chain people sculptures from previous years, and have always loved them. This year, though, they outdid themselves. Taking some sculptures from previous years and, presumably, adding a few new ones, the creators posed them in worship of the almighty oil well in perfect connection with this year's theme: The Green Man.
When the oil well was blown up at the end of the event, it was possibly the most amazing spectacle I have seen, or ever will see. I wish I could find another word to describe it, but all I can keep thinking is "amazing."

Watching the temple burn

Last year I made the mistake of leaving before the Temple Burn in order to beat traffic and get back to Seattle with a little time to relax before going back to work. This year, I stayed for this final burn, and it was amazing. In contrast to the showy fireworks of The Man burning, and the huge fireball of Crude Awakening's burn, the temple burn is a more peaceful event. I stood in silence, cuddling campmates as we watched the flames peacefully engulf the sacred structure. Inside were notes of remembrance, pictures of lost friends and family, and statements of forgiveness. As someone who has dabbled in all kinds of religion, only to realize that nothing fits, this was one of the most spiritual moments of my life.

Looks like you had a blast! Bondage and domination eh???? Hmmmmmmm...........
