Introduction
Born in St. Louis, MO....here's getting up to speed on where I've lived the past 30 years.
1
Bado, Missouri
I lived here from 3 days of age to 18 years of age! Great place to grow up and even better to visit!
2
Kansas City, Missouri
Troost and 53rd Street! Not the best part of town, but I was attending Rockhurst College. Lived here 1 1/2 years and decided when a security guard was shot on campus that this small town girl better head back south!
3
Springfield, Missouri
AAAAHHHHHH...familiarity....friends, family. I finished my bachelor's degree here....just in time to move to.....
4
Creve Coeur, Missouri
Great suburb of St. Louis. Stayed for about a year and a half and well...moved on....
5
Durham, North Carolina
North Carolina in the fall....BEAUTIFUL! Moved here in September 2001 as a travelling nurse at Duke University. Stayed for three months, but still not ready to stay in one spot!
6
Iowa City, Iowa
Moved here for a travelling nurse assignment at the University of Iowa! Best travel assignment I had as far as hospitals go, but by all means...the COLDEST! Moved here in January and my Xterra saw lots of four wheel drive action to get me home in the snow!
7
Boston, Massachusetts
Worked at Massachusetts General Hospital and travelled alot of New England. Loved this assignment for the beauty of MA, NH, VT, CT, NY, RI. Oh...I almost forgot....my friend Kelly lived in Boston at the time and my friend Ammie also took an assignment...so girlfriends nearby...a definite perk!
8
Wilmington, North Carolina
Took a travel assignment at a small orthopedic hospital. Came to Wilmington only to see the coast of NC and live on the beach for three months...ended up staying 6 months...long time in the travel nursing industry. Loved Wilmington! Love North Carolina!
9
Fresno, California
Time to move out west and see what California has to offer! Took an assignment at Fresno Community Hospital. Highlights....Napa Valley, San Francisco and the Price is Right! Time to get back to the east coast!
10
Durham, North Carolina
Anyone seeing any trends yet? Love North Carolina! This assignment....University of North Carolina. Stayed there three months and then took another assignment at Duke University. But...it's time to back closer to familiy again!
11
Ozark, Missouri
Love this little quiet suburb of Springfield. We have numerous antique shops and a tea house (Spring Creek Tea Room) that is worth a days trip to eat at! I've been idle now for a bit.....
my friend crystal's parents own spring creek antiques and tea room. they're good people.

My mother graduated from Ozark High School in 1936. She lived in some "holler" Southeast of town; hunted possum rabbits, and squirrel for dinner(It was during the depression, and my grandfather was a slacker even in good times). When we visited my grandmother in Springfield, my Mom always made us "run down to Ozark" to visit her friend Opal McGuiness. Back then it was actially a discrete "hillbilly" town. Of course Springfield ended at Sunshine.
