fun names to say! i wish my last name was papelbon. papelbon seems really shocked right now. i wish the reporter would leave him alone. and jacoby ellsbury - that kid could do no wrong. not too bad for a 24 year old.

why do the other teams (cardinals or rockies) even bother to show up? i love looking forward to watching the games, and four game sweeps are so anti-climactic and over way too soon.

in the alcs series with the yankees (2004) and the indians (2007), the sox clawed their way to the pennant, and then breezed through the world series.

i so wish they could've won at fenway. but then again, if that happened, the place might explode and burn to the ground.

cross promotions take the authenticity out of america's favorite past-time. mike lowell (MVP) was just awkwardly awarded some chevy package, and the taco bell CEO awarded free "freshly made just for you" tacos to america due to a homerun in game 2.

i do think we'll be seeing a lot more of the red sox in upcoming post season play. i wish i was in boston. GO SOX!!
