i heard the fireworks from my apartment. i thought the city was being bombed. i don't know if these SF commentators can milk this anymore than they already have.

wait. i bet they can.

I personally believe that the only reason Hank wasn't on steroids, was that they hadn't been invented. Back in the day, those guys (Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Willie Mays, and yes, Hammerin Hank, et al)popped amphetimines like tic tacs.

Barry's only problem is that he has the apparent personality of a pit viper. If he had Bob Uecker's personality, the media morons would have carried him around the bases.

An amazing accomplishment.

I believe those who think about it would have a hard time denying him credit. But lets share with Hank!

Well gentlemen and ladies there are a lot of men who take steroids and DONT hit homeruns. Berry has perfected his swing, and will get my constant applause.

Round ball going 90 MPH, less than 0.7 seconds from pitchers fingers to strike zone, rising, sinking, curving, sliding, round bat, plus or minus 2 degrees on bat or ball. The toughest single act in sports.

Not sure what steroids has to do with eyes and reflexes.
