So, we all start out somewhere right? At least thats what my mom told me. She said I have to "work" my way up. Hmmm...yeah, well I haven't been doing a lot of "working" since I started my job here. Making Coffee
I LOVE the fact that I just spent 5 years in an intense architecture school so that I can make a "shitty" pot of coffee for my boss. Thanks.

Facebooking/Myspacing
Hmmm...well this really isn't that bad, besides the fact that I now look like a freak for spending so much time on these addictive websites. Thanks to my job, my friends think I don't have one.

Showing Up Late
Another not so bad plus to being the intern. Nobody notices when I'm late. Well that is if the coffee has been set on a timer. Otherwise I'm screwed.

Checking my E-Mail....constantly
No matter how many emails I get I still feel unpopular when I'm at work. That is due to the fact that checking my email is one of the only things to do. My mom really appreciates this tho...I guess I'm being more "communicative"

Learning Others Restroom Habits
This one is gross. The bathroom is right outside our office...so naturally everyone has to walk by me. I can tell you what time EVERYONE in our office has to do their business, and how long it takes. And some people wonder why I purchased Metamucil for the office? Oh please. I know you better than you think.

Catching Up on Celebrity Gossip
Ever since taking this job I have had a particular fondness for websites such as Perezhilton.com, pinkisthenewblog.com, and gofugyourself.com....

The Company Credit Card & Exotic Fruit
This one is strange I know. I was put in charge of all the office shopping, and being so bored...what do they expect. I have a lot of time on my hands, and the office credit card. Needless to say, when you put bored and credit card together and put me in that situation, nothing good can come of it. I stock up on exotic fruit for the office on each shopping trip...my bosses are speachless upon my return.

yeah that girl has a strange bathroom habit. and she's always trying to be so sneaky. i always feel like shouting "I SEE YOU!!!" as she walks into the restroom. haha

I feel the same way! I am interning at CBS this summer and all I do, LITERALLY, is surf the web. It is driving me crazy to sit at a desk in an office with no windows while the awesomeness of Chicago summer passes me by. But thank god for onmylist.com.
