Introduction
As spoken from the mouth of a Canadian.
1
We are NOT all friendly.... we are just putting up with you :)
2
We do NOT put our elderly on ice flows and set them to sea to die, unless they can't afford the funeral.
3
Our Health Care System DOES ROCK...... There is no argument.
4
Not everybody pronounces the word "about" like "aboot"..... so quit the bullshit imitations.
5
We DO say "eh", and there is nothing wrong with it!!!!
6
Yes..... We hate Nickleback too!! We don't know who's buying their shit either? Germany??
7
We renounced Celine Dion's citizenship, not officially, but the "silent majority". We gave her to the U.S.A.. You are welcome.
8
Our beer is better than yours.... don't even TRY to denounce it. ( I am talking major brands... not microbrewery)
9
Yes, SOME french Quebecers are ignorant, but so are the rest of us!
10
We have the NICE side of Niagara Falls.
11
Watch this You Tube Video... it speaks volumes!!! Time: 00:59 seconds .... short and sweet.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRI-A3vakVg
12
William Shatner, Leslie Nielson, and Lorne Greene, Lorne Michaels, Michael J. Fox, Jim Carrey, John Candy were Canadian. You can KEEP Keanu Reeves.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1CwZgb_iAI
The You Tube clip is William Shatner showing his love for his country. giggle.... enjoy :)
13
We can legally download music. We pay a "copying tariff" on all blank media in Canada. Therefore, the courts ruled that we have already paid.
14
Yes.... we love beaver!!!!
15
You can't ski in July, or any months but December to March. Period!!!
16
We have a national debit card system that works COAST TO COAST!!!
17
Our military is pathetically underfunded.... we have 2 row boats, a mule and a pistol. Our air force is about a dozen carrier pigeons.
Our submarine fleet is in for repairs.... they needed new screen doors.
18
Our Prime Minister (sinister), Stephen Harper, is way too close to your President. It's scary.
And Liberal Leader Stephane Dion is creepy. We are screwed.
19
We have 3.2 km p/person(8.5 per square mile). Compared to Japan: 337 ppl per km (952 per mile) Usa: 31 people per km( 87.5 per mile)
20
We do not wear rubber boots all day..... just part of it :)
21
Newfoundland runs a half hour off from the rest of the country. It is because of Newfie Screech... I'm sure of it!

25
We can kick anyone's ass in the snow...... the Russians would be tough though.
you're teaching me a lot tonight. thanks!
i've never been to canada, but would love to visit - regardless of my phobia of being cold.

Loved the You Tube clip.
You definitely have the most interesting side of the falls.
The Geezer still says "hoser"; he is probably the only one in the world who does.
It's great to see someone so proud of their country, even if it is Canada.;~)

And...you had a redneck list..I thought that was an American term. Wrong, huh?

I love Canada! I go up there whenever possible (it's great to live only a few hours from the border). Some of my favorite things out of Canada:
1. Red Rose tea. I love tea. Tea should always be drunk out of a dainty tea cup with saucer. And don't forget to hold your pinky up as you sip.
2. Anne of Green Gables. The best young adults series a little girl could ever find.
3. Pamela Anderson. She may have hit the wall now, but in her prime she was quite dreamy. Yeah yeah yeah, I know about all the plastic. I simply don't care.

What about Paul Shaffer, Martin Short, and Anne Murray? Do you wish to keep them or trade them away? I'm glad to see you are doing your part to promote international peace, harmony, and understanding. Great list---keep those chuckles coming. :)

We've talked about one of those train site-seeing trips through Canada. The parts I've seen are beautiful!
