Introduction

It's a rough one

I am hung over. (Is that two words?)

I went to Ribfest in Naperville last night. Had VIP tickets so beer and food was free. I'm pretty sure I consumed my body weight. Getting up at 5:30 this morning was not fun. (But Los Lonely Boys were actually really great!)

I missed my train

I am supposed to take the 6:37 train. In my drunken stupor last night, I decided to take a later train and cab it to work. Bad idea when sober (or getting there...)

I am going to get a parking ticket

The damn machine wouldn't take any of my $1 bills (and I had four of them). So now I'm probably going to get a damn ticket! Damn it!

Did I mention I'm hung over?

I can barely move

I'm trying to be on a workout kick this summer. I took the hardest bodysculpting class of my life yesterday (plus I was sore from Saturday's workout when I went into it). My thighs feel like someone pounded them with a hammer. I don't care if I'm fat, I'm never doing a lunge again.

I had to take a cab to work

There's $10 down the drain. Add my parking ticket on top of that and it's going to be an expensive day.

All of this to come to an unpaid internship to sit on my (very sore) ass.

Been there, done that (well not the train/cab thing). Just know that you will survive and, most likely, do it again. And it sounds like last night was a good time. Hang in there!

What is worst? Sucking balls or sucking ass?

I vote ass... so, I guess your day could have been worst...

Sucking ass is WAAAY worse than balls. Although, if you're a guy, I would think balls might be. Anyway, I got to watch Wimbledon all day so I guess work wasn't that bad.

No, thankfully! I called my aunt and she drove up to the train station and paid the fee. And I found an organic grocery store (that I like even better than Trader Joe's) called Fox and Obel right by my work that makes great sushi lunches. So maybe it wasn't so bad of a day.
