Introduction

...or give rise to a generation of selfish, self-centered spawn. This rant is due to the difficulties heaped upon me by an ungrateful brood.

1

Lazy

yep, you think that they will get better. I have a 23,21 and 19 year old. My gosh, I never realized anyone could be as lazy as my 23 yr. old. Doesn't live at home, mooches off Grandparents 'cause I'd had it with her years ago. (not just for being lazy)
2

Ungrateful

Doesn't matter what it is. You know, they are owed. They've done so much.
3

They know EVERYTHING

yes, at about 17 the knowledge of the universe is downloaded and they become the authority of whatever. And you are stupid.
4

Rebellious

rules? heck no. why would they follow those. and do you think for one second they care about you or what they put you through? No Way! You are the problem, not them.
5

Self-Worth

They think pretty high of themselves, that's why they won't take a job making less then $10 an hour even though they have no experience or additional education.
6

Greedy

won't pitch in to help with the household. Must be nice to work and beable to spend all your money on yourself while all my money goes to support you while you buy nice things and play. (I am a single parent and make around 23 a year)
7

Hateful

it's real easy to be nice when you get your way however once you don't you become this nasty evil person who spits hateful things at the one person who loves you the most in this world (your Mom)
8

Mocking

I am the butt of jokes and my faith is also mocked. My oldest likes doing and saying anything she can to upset me. Doesn't matter that I am in poor health and am supposed to stay calm and not stress due to my high BP.

What were you like at 18-20? Not accusing, just wondering.

Noah, yes my room was a mess and I got yelled at to clean it up at least once a week. I joined the military at 19 and was on my own. I was nothing like my kids, I've asked my Mom.

well then, you are not getting paid back. Parents always warn their kids, "wait 'til your kids do this to you! You'll see!"

So that was the theory on my mind...
