Meeting people online? I think not!

I am so sick of hearing all the comercials on TV about finding the perfect man/woman to spend your life with and all you have to do is get on our chat room spend this small fee and magically there they will be waiting. That is such a load of crap..get off your ass grow some guts and go out and meet people face to face instead of screen to screen.

There are so many freaky people out there and it is so easy to send another persons pic hello! Is everyone freaking stupid? All the stories of girls getting raped and going to see there "16" year old online lover and he turns out to be a 50 year old pedifile! Come on!!!

I have two jobs and at my second job this girl got hired and just moved to missouri from North Carolina...she moved here because she had been talking to this guy online for 5 years and he was the love of her life and she got here and guess what? He was a girl!!! And was sending pictures of her brother! How messed up is that. This chick told how she tried to make it work but 2 months later ended up moving back home and lost 5 years of her life. Wow!!!

I know there are people out there that do have success with online relationships and i think good for them but do you want to take the chance of not finding that and putting your self in danger....Yes people are shy and insecure but are we really going to let it controll our whole life to the point that we can't even go out and have a good time and meet people?

Don't get me wrong I think the internet is a great thing..I love google, I love my facebook with my friends, I love my hotmail account, I love checking my grades online instead of asking my professor every class time, and I love this onmylist site and I think these are all fun! I hate...hate...hate...HATE chat rooms and online dating services!!! They are a dangerous, cowardly, waste of time!!!
