Introduction

Most of these were created back in the day, but have never been changed.

1

Comic books which depict any illegal acts are banned.

Obviously not enforced. Ever look in the comic book section lately?
2

You may not pay for a fifty-cent item with only pennies.

Yup... pretty dumb! Just make sure the item you want is $0.49 or $0.51 if you only have pennies!!

NOT enforced.....
3

It is illegal for clear or non-dark sodas to contain caffeine.

Enforced.

It let's consumers make quick choices on a beverage if they do not or cannot have caffeine. No need to read the label.

Mountain Dew in Canada has no caffeine, but they do sell Dew Fuel that has caffeine written all over it to warn even the daftest consumer that it is NOT normal Dew.
4

Businesses must provide rails for tying up horses.

Not enforced..... but it should be! That would be a giggle :)
5

You may never use dice to play craps.

Kinda makes it hard to play.....eh?
6

Margarine producers can't make their margarine yellow.

Enforced.

They make it yellowish.... but not the same as natural butter.
7

Homeowners are responsible for clearing snow off of municipal sidewalks.

Not enforced.

This one is old and dumb. All municipalities do this. NOT homeowners.
8

You can't work on your car in the street.

I guess they don't drive a piece of shit car like me :)

Not enforced most places.... probably only in the cities,
9

It's illegal to climb trees.

Not enforced.

Old, dumb law.

What do they charge you with? Molesting Mother Nature? Fir Fondling?
10

All business signs in the province of Quebec must be in French.

Enforced.

French is their native language in Quebec. This makes sense.

What DOESN'T make sense is that it is ILLEGAL in some area's to have english on the sign.

This stems from Bloc Quebecois extremists, the same weirdo's that want Quebec to separate from Canada.

They are free to leave anytime, but the LAND belongs to Canada :)

Number 6 brought back some memories. We had the same law back in the day (the dairy lobby was very strong). So, when my Grammy bought oleo (what they called margarine back then) I got to squirt the little packet of yellow dye into the plastic bag of oleo and kneed it till it was all the same color. Dirt, I'm older than dirt.

These are great!
The sidewalks in our town were recently replaced. A metal ring in front of the old post office, used to tie up horses, was put back into the new cement.
RE: caffiene...aughhh! That would end my soda habit!
