Introduction
It's unfortunate that when many Americans think of Bill Clinton what runs through their minds are the woman, the scandals, the pardons and a myriad of other non-presidential activities. Here are some of my good and the not so good memories of the Clinton Presidency.
The women
Gennifer, Monica, Paula, Kathleen and Juanita; this is one brave man considering he had to face Hillary with these names hanging in the air waves.
He did institute quarterly mandatory "Prevention of Sexual Harassment" meetings for all government employees. The attitude about these ranges from irony to anger. Maybe G. W. Bush will institute "Anger Management" meetings since he has angered so many people.

The "gates"
Travelgate, Troopergate, White Watergate, FBI records, questionable donors, the pardons, the list goes on. And nobody cares. He is untouchable. Soon we will find out if she is.
The First Black President
In 1998, Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison called Clinton "the first Black president," saying "Clinton displays almost every trope of blackness: single-parent household, born poor, working-class, saxophone-playing, McDonald's-and-junk-food-loving boy from Arkansas," (Wikipedia)
This is interesting as he really did not institute any legislation that bettered the lives of the black community and actually signed a bill limiting welfare that was reported to have hurt minorities.
The great thing is he was able to reach out and touch a demographic no previous President had been able to.

Charisma
Articles have been written describing his ability to charm adversaries and dominate a room with his warmth and wit.
He is an excellent public speaker and was able to reach out and touch thousands with his words during times of crisis.

IQ
He is a highly intelligent political animal. Even his detractors don't question his intellect. He is a Rhodes Scholar who uses his brilliance and his innate political talents in his best interests. Usually.
The Iraq Liberation Act
Few people remember this:
The Act declared that it was the Policy of the United States to support "regime change." The Act was passed 360-38 in the U.S. House of Representatives and by unanimous consent in the Senate. President Bill Clinton signed the bill into law on October 31, 1998. The law's stated purpose was: "to establish a program to support a transition to democracy in Iraq."
Hmmm...I wonder how people would feel if he and not G. Bush were the president at this point in time.

Conundrum
A CNN/USA TODAY/Gallup poll conducted as he was leaving office, revealed deeply contradictory attitudes regarding Clinton. Although his approval rating at 68% was higher than that of any other departing president since polling began more than seventy years earlier, only 45% said they would miss him. 68% thought he would be remembered for his "involvement in personal scandal" rather than his accomplishments as president, and 58% answered "No" to the question "Do you generally think Bill Clinton is honest and trustworthy?"
Spoiled
My opinion: Although I did not and still would not have voted for him and I abhor his lack of personal responsibility; I don't find him evil. (Actually it puzzles me how so many people throw that word around describing our current President.) I think he is spoiled.
Billy Clinton grew up in a house with a mom and a grandmother who doted on him. He was a highly intelligent boy who achieved accolades and awards with his intelligence and leadership abilities. He charms and manipulates his way with people. And, so far, he has succeeded in landing on his feet time and time again. Most politicians would have lost their careers with just one of the transgressions committed by Bill.

Chelsea
He appears to be a good Dad. His daughter seems to love and forgive him. When it is all said and done; I think that is the more important job.

Bill did a decent job for your economy, and had the definition of "sex" and "oral sex" changed.....what a guy!
