things that make make me happy

Introduction
inspired by seoulfully's list, these are little things that make me all warm and fuzzy inside
crashing waves
no sound quite like it.
bosco and talulah when they are well behaved
nothing like unconditional fuzzy puppy love. when they are calm and sweet, i couldn't be happier.
the sound of walking through gravel
has a very satisfying, crunchy sound.
smell of tanning lotion
this reminds me of the beach and being on vacation, which leads me to....
sunshine on your back
especially the first time you feel it after it's been cold and dreary for an extended period of time.
andy's frozen custard
a springfield, missouri specialty. nothing else like it. love the jitterbug with vanilla custard, espresso, almonds and heath bar. HEAVEN.
british accents
posh. cockney. love 'em all.
heavy rain / thunderstorms
only when you don't have to go out in them. and if there are no tornados involved.
checking off list items
seriously! what a sense of accomplishment and a weight off your chest.
fire in the fireplace
evokes a sense of security and coziness.
clean sheets
love crawling into bed with clean sheets. if they're still warm - bonus.
anticipating a good meal
feed me! one of my favorite meals would be on clare and ally's deck.
old brick
i love the texture and history of old brick, and it warms up any room.
noah
my scruffy faced, confident, sweet, blue-eyed husband. he makes me most happy. i thought posting this would embarrass him...(hence the late add)!
friends and family
this is on the heels of a trip home to missouri. it felt so good to see everyone. it's so nice to be around so many wonderful people who you love and who make you feel comfortable.
a margarita on a beach
with REAL lime juice. none of that premixed junk.

the church choir at trinity church in boston. lisa hannigan (used to sing with damien rice). these sounds give me goosebumps, chills, tears.
mornings without an alarm clock
i love going to bed knowing i'll be waking up when i'm good and ready.
road trips
i love setting out on a little (or long) road excursion, especially when you're in no big hurry.
smell of freshly cut grass
the grass looks so rich and green after it's been cut, and the smell is heavenly.
Even if not inspired by my list, it's 5 stars for #'s 5, 10, 11.
Love em all! Would be very similar to my list however I would have to switch out Bosco and Talulah with Eden and Landon.

Ummm...Tyler and Brianne when they are well behaved? OR, a good book, a stormy day our fireplace and a quiet house. OR a good movie & a bag of M & Ms, OR a friend's kitchen and good conversation.
