Introduction
My brother is two years older. I love him. Here is why...
1
His name is Harry.
He is warm and fuzzy.
2
He is two years older.
He paved the path, experienced all the parental trials and learning curves a first born absorbs for those siblings who follow.
3
He taught me culture.
I experienced a "Dutch rub", an "Indian burn" and a Turkish torture technique.
4
He gave me an appreciation for science and physics.
Sticking a warm, moist lip on a frozen gutter will result in an immediate bond.
5
He let me wreck his car.
ANd then he let me buy it.
6
He brought his cute friends home.
I speak of high school years and the male variety.
7
He married an angel.
Her name is Patti.
8
He loves his daughter unconditionally.
Her name is Regan.
9
He is thrifty.
When we are all old, he will have money and will take care of all of the rest of the poor, destitute siblings.
10
He is wise.
Despite attempts to dissuade to a derelict direction, he displays a steadiness and a common sense practicality.
11
He is a hero.
When the chips are down, my brother will show up for clean up and prop up.
12
He is dependable.
He will ALWAYS be my brother.
Geez, I wanna a brother, too...

Wonderful list, Kathybelle! Thanks for pointing me in the direction of it. My brother is a year older than I, and we have shared some of these same experiences. There are so many of the older lists on this site that are so great, but I haven't seen them. I'm glad I got to read this one today. :)

This is really sweet. I love my brothers too... but I'm older, so I can tell them to love me and they have to listen! jk! Harry sounds like a great guy :)
