What happened to my 'funny'?

Did his ascension to the Big Number One kill my creativity?

Maybe it just the general posting of great lists, especially some of the newbies. I'm feeling stressed to live up to the task. Or kathybelle with her great drawings and word play, or Hippie Sir with his moving thingys. I'm in tears just thinking about it.

Most compulsions or addictions start out with a fun activity: alcohol, gambling, chocolate. Then they turn into joy leaching monsters. Brie P thinks this is what has happened to me with OML. I'm addicted and fun has morphed to grim.

I don't do graphics well; never have, never will. I struggle with the photos; which is the best one, how do I make it the correct size, will other OMLers like the photo? Arrggh, too difficult...

THEN there's the Youtube thing. First I have to figure out how to find the best clip and make sure it is not too long and then paste it into the box and then watch it again after reading the list to double check it's relevance to the list.

To much pressure for me with questionable results. I worked for a long time on the Dr. Seuss thing and it is kinda sucky.

Not goin' there - even in fun. I am too wussy to take the fallout. But, I am aware of my shortcomings and know when to let well enough alone.

My mama always said "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride." So, I guess I'm wishing for a beggar to ride up and give me back my funny.

Dusty Springfield - Springfield, MO - get it?? Yes, I know this is a queen. The clip is short and kind of funny if you can get past the eeeww factor.

I don't live in a funky, cool place. Nixa, MO - sure not San Francisco or Boston or LA or NY or Florida (where the Gators play) or Paris or London or Glasgow. Nope, not me, I live in a bedroom community of a smallish, mid-west city. We got nuthin'; no dim sum here. We don't even have a library so I can talk about a flasher. We have flashers but they are boring too.

Maybe I've given it all I've got. Hmmm, that is depressing, I will have to go and get more.
