Introduction
These are some things that make me uncomfortable, at the very least. Some more than others. This list probably says a lot about me.
1
MOLE CRICKETS!
This one tops the list. I think I am scared of these because of a traumatic experience I had. When I was growing up, every once in a while mole crickets would get into the bathroom. (These are not your average little crickets. These monsters have very long legs and they jump.) I had smacked it with a shoe and then I picked it up to throw it away. I was about to drop it into the toilet to flush it when it jumped on my chest, forever instilling the fear. I can do spiders, snakes, etc. but NOT mole crickets!

2
Heights
...especially unstable heights...

3
Bad People
Call me crazy, but I'm not comfortable with people willing to commit violent crime.
4
Public Speaking
If I never have to give another speech in my life, I'll die a happy woman.

5
Dishonest People
People that aren't truthful are usually the most hurtful.
6
Government
I'm not a conspiracy nut, but I guess this could be a bullet under

7
Being Lost
I hate to be lost. It takes away my feelings of control of my situation, and I don't like that.

8
Tiny Spaces
Being in a crowded elevator doesn't scare me, but I don't like little spaces in caves or the pod-like things you ride up the St. Louis Arch in. The latter probably taps into fear

Bridges over water (troubled or not!)
I'm not a fan of going over bridges. I really don't like bridges over water. I am just afraid I will get hit by another car and knocked into the water and not be able to get out. Not sure where this fear comes from, but there it is. Going to Key West I was especially nervous. I've never seen so many bridges!
AMMENDMENT: Before when I wrote this, I was nervous about being knocked into the water. Now that the bridge in MN has collapsed, that's one more reason to choose an alternate route, if possible!

I'm with you on all of these, I hate jumpy bugs. First on my list would be snakes. I'm going to copy this one if you don't mind.

mice. They really creep me out. When I was little I went to put on my snow boots and I felt something soft in the toe. I reached in to get it out thinking it was a sock I had left in there. what did I pull out but a mouse. eek. enough said.
