Things I wish I was

I'd have liked to do some sort of design work. Nothing specifically. Just generally. Furniture, consumer electronics, art, whatever.

Not the "Pray with me as you call my 800 number to send me money" kind. But the Guy Kawasaki tech evangelist kind.

A slight bit of college nostalgia. Is there anyone in any part of their 20s who hasn't thought they could be a writer at once point?

Or a successful blogger, along the lines of a Bill Simmons. Or a pop culture critic like Chuck Klosterman. Though Malcolm Gladwell is who I'd most like to emulate. Interesting topics, thoughtful research, etc.

I'm fascinated by marketing. I always think marketing is to fool dumb people, then I watch the iPhone ads drooling and think marketing guys are genius (but then again maybe I am one of the dumb people).

Producer, DP, director, critic... not that I have any of the skills to do any of those things, but I love the movies.

I just enjoy it, not good at it, just enjoy it.

Come on. What guy hasn't watch Heat or any bank robbery movie or heist flick and thought "I could totally do that!"?
