Write with a fountain pen
My fave? My grandfather's Sheaffer Jr. He used it to write love-letters to my grandma back in WWII.
3
BBS
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulletin_board_system
My fave? EschwaBBS - ssh bbs@bbs.eschwa.net. It rose from the ashes of HeinousBBS, a community I joined back in 1991.

Walk
My fave? Walking to Braum's with my oldest son, taking a shortcut by the drainage canal, to pick up a gallon of milk.

Knit and Crochet
My fave? The yellow blanket with green trim I made for my youngest son. Sure, knitting is pretty popular right now, but to find a time when men did fibercraft in large numbers, you'd have to look back to the Age of Sail!

Get my news (and much of my entertainment) from the radio
My fave? Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!, a news quiz show. Even if commercial radio in Tulsa wasn't wholly-owned by ClearChannel, I'd still almost never change the station from KWGS.

Bake bread
My fave? A basic 100% whole wheat I make about twice a week for sandwiches and toast.

Listen to popular music from the 1940s
I have very eclectic taste in music, but some of my favorite feel-good tunes are big band favorites like Glenn Miller and Louis Armstrong or old standards sung by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Louie Prima, and their ilk.
I really enjoy listening to baseball games on the radio. Sometimes as much as television if the announcers are good. Its soooo soothing.
