Introduction
The heat in the midwest this month has made us 'cool our heels'. Finally, some relief in sight! A local community in the Ozarks broke or tied high temperature marks 8 out of 9 days in one stretch this month, 107-degrees being the highest.
Let's bring on what it can be like around the Ozarks when the heat retreats (with thanks to my brother-in-law and two knifemaking friends for their photography help):
