Songs/Artists I am embarrassed to admit I like....

I am blushing with shame at the memories. The jealousy I had for my friends whose parentstook them to the New Kids on the Block concerts, The lies I'd come up with (I need help with my homework!) to get to my girlfriend's house just because her entire room was NKOTB wallpaper, bed set, posters, the works! I wanted Joey, mainly because he was the closest in age to me when I was in middle school.
I'm still too embarrassed to put them on my iPod, though.

I'm going to be 30 soon. I should not even know who Zack Effron is! But I watched the whole movie and sang along with the chorus. I am pathetic. This I probably WILL put on my iPod...but under something cool and edgy like my Alternative Rock playlist so no one can laugh at me....

So many people I know hate this song but I find myself singing along to it whenever I hear it. It's just fun. Cheesy, maybe, But I happen to like cheese.

So what if she is the Queen of Elevator music? I love her stuff. And I do have her on my iPod, so I guess you could say she is less embarrassing for me than the NKOTB. But that probably won't save me from ridicule from the rest of the world.

I hate American Idol. I hate that I like a song by one of the winners. I hate that I still liked the song when I found out who sang it. I hate that I like more of her songs than I care to admit.
