Introduction
Okay, here I go. I didn't even write it on paper first. I'm just layin' it out there and see how many I can remember. This may give me an ideal of how many brain cells I have killed with my tequila abuse. I do love shots. These are so much in no particular order that I'm not even sure what decade they would have been in.
1
Three Dog Night
AZ Veteran's Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. Most of the concerts I saw were there. Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog... And, my mom knew the drummers aunt.
2
Linda Ronstadt
Geez, she was bad. Great singer, lousy entertainer. "My next song will be ..." Lalala lalala. "Ok, my next song is..."
John Mellencamp opened for her. He was better. He was on TV last night with the Boston Pops. That was good.

3
Iron Butterfly
The first with a light show. Extremely bad light show.

4
Gordon Lightfoot
So mellow, I actually dozed off...
5
Neal Diamond
This was during the "They're Coming to America" time. Wow, if he only knew...
Great Show!!
Great Show!!

Peter, Paul and Mary

At Grady Gammage Auditorium a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright creation with superb acoustics. Peter, Paul and Mary were just ok.
7
The Association
BORING!
8
The Oak Ridge Boys
That was fun. I went with a girl friend (The Geezer doesn't do country) and we went for drinks after. The Boys showed up. We bought them a drink. They waved at us. What were we thinking? They could afford their own damn liquor!

Jerry Jeff Walker
We had second row seats in one of those theaters in the round thingys, smallish and kind of intimate. The teeny bopper in front of us, (front row - Daddy probably worked for the radio station) kept standing up. She was in the front freakin row. Sit you skinny ass down so the rest of us don't have to stand up. Finally, one of the times she did sit down I trapped her very long hair against the back of the chair with my knees. The next time she stood up, she got whip lash. THAT TOOK CARE OF THAT!! Oh yeah, JJW was really drunk.
10
Johnny Cash
He was great!!!
11
Helen Reddy
In Las Vegas. Pretty good. Some comedian opened for her and he was great.
12
George Carlin
Wow - doesn't get any funnier that George. Don't care for his politics, but he can make me laugh all night.
13
Bill Cosby
Bil Cosby and George Carlin -- Night and Day. I loved them both. Bill Cosby can be funnier that you can ever imagine without using foul language, sexual innuendo, or potty words.
I won the tickets by being the whatever caller on a radio show. When I went to pick the tickets up in my cutoff jeans and tank top, one of the radio personalities asked me out. We dated for several months. That was fun.

14
The Village People
This was at Juanita K in Springfield. A lot of fun, a little raunchy for the kids who were there. YMCA...
15
The Moody Blues
I really don't remember much, hmm.
16
Crosby, Stills & Nash
No Young. I don't remember this as being bad?
17
Chicago and Blood, Sweat & Tears
I can't remember if I saw these or just really wanted to. This was before the hubband so he isn't helping much. I have vague memories of them.
18
"SAMMY"
Saving the best for last. Sammy Davis Jr. in Las Vegas at, I think, The Hilton Grand. I grew up with parents who loved the Rat Pack. When offered an opportunity to see whoever I wanted during a National Home Builders Assoc. weekend, I jumped at the chance to see Sammy. He came out first, before the opening act, all in black, no jewelry, with a derby hat and did "Bo-Jangles". We had fabulous seats, I was in heaven. I don't remember who the opening act was, then Sammy was back. This is one of my best memories ever.
very eclectic group...and good memory too!

of course. Johnny Cash. When I saw him he only played for about 40 minutes. June played with the band for about 20 minutes before Johnny got on stage.
Glad I got to see him.
