Introduction
I started thinking of all the concerts I had been too and it was a very weird combination of music. I can only think of a handfull so here they are.
1
Aerosmith
Saratoga, NY in 1988. I was 7 years old with my dad and I remeber hearing Jany's Got a Gun and then I fell asleep for the last half of the concert.
2
Janet Jackson
The rythm nation tour in Albany, NY either in the late 80's or early 90's. I think I had to go since my sister was going and we had a baby sitter so my parents did not have to go. Lucky them!
3
New Kids on the Blcok
Also in Albany, NY circa 1989 or 1990 and all I can remeber is not being able to see anything except for torn jeans.
4
Alan Jackson
Early 90's in St. Louis at Riverport which I believe is now the UMB Bank Pavilion. I went through a stage of liking country. Don't ask!
5
Paige & Plant
At what is now the Scott Trade center. I was in 6th grade and it was awesome!
6
Lynard Skynard
Saw them at the Route 66 concert here in Springfield, MO. Lots of red necks but it was cool to see them play Freebird live. Even though it was not all the orginal members it was still cool.
7
Snoop Dog
I am pretty sure I got drunk, heard he was in town, went to the Shrine Mosque, lied to the ticket taker that I had tickets at will call and he let me and my friend in for free. It was perfect timing becasue when I walked in Snoop came on stage. Hilarious & awesome at the same time.
8
Widespread Panic
I have seen them 3 seperate times. First at Red Rocks, then Denver, and then Kansas City. Red Rocks is by the far the best place to see a live show of any type of music.
9
Bob Dylan
He came to the Shrine last year. I took my dad to go see him for his birthday since he is such a huge fan. It was awesome!
