hotel rwanda
we have this from netflix. just haven't watched it yet.
update: i didn't want to watch this for a long time because i thought i'd be uber-depressed afterwards, and (shocking) i never felt like going there. finally, i ripped off the band-aid. it was depressing....but enlightening and a must see.

i've heard it's good...and not as depressing as i was afraid it would be.

paris je t'aime
update: LOVE this flick!! perfect for a short attention span with 15 or so wonderful vignettes from various directors. it's pretty spot on when capturing that parisian "j'ne sais quoi".

michael moore is a bit too extreme and one-sided for my taste, but i think he does a good job exposing issues.
update: wow this is good. it's not as michael moore-y as his other documentaries. it's really freaking scary and sad. and makes me want to move back to france.

update: great movie! good acting. javier bardem is unbelievably creepy. i would recommend this to anyone, as long as you're not faint of heart.
Hotel Rowanda was brutal... I couldn't make it all the way through.
The Holiday was cheesy, but fun and cute.

i liked babel, but i didn't think it was so great that it was worthy of all the oscar talk last year (except for cinematography, where it didn't even get a nod).
love hotel rwanda. cheadle is amazing in it. should've won the oscar.

Hotel Rwanda made me cry. A lot. And feel outraged. Blood Diamond was surprisingly good and eye opening too. I'm a glutton for punishment. I really want to see Knocked Up!

Dont ask me why, but we have The Holiday downstairs. Very girlie, but you know what? Not that bad! And I love me some Jude Law!

#1 - You've gotta see it
#2 - Fun and funny but not stupid
#3 - Hope it is better than Ocean's 12
#4 - Heart wrencher
#5 - Watching the series again with the fam
#6 - Just ok, not worth the hype
#7 - the only one I haven't seen (except Ocean's 13 which isn't out yet). I HAVE NO LIFE...
Add - The original 12 Angry Men with Henry Fonda

The "Bourne Ultimatum" is THE best action movie I've ever seen. You really can't catch your breath from start to finish. My wife and I both loved it, and Matt Damon is perfect!
