Top Animal Sport Star Movies

You can only imagine how the pitch meeting went for this movie: "It's about a werewolf who becomes more popular than jesus playing high school basketball set to a Randy Newman score". What Hollywood executive could say no to that?

Not quite as compelling as Teen Wolf but the pitch meeting may have been more absurd. The treatment must have read something like "It's Dunston Checks In meets Major League". An actor is never the same after doing a buddy movie with an ape.

A Field Goal Kicking Mule coached by Don Knots. If you're not hooked by that premise, look no further than the supporting cast that includes, Johnny Unitas, Richard Kiel (Jaws from the Bond series) and the legendary pervert, Bob Crane in his last movie. That's one hell of a wrap party.

Like Godfather 2, this is one of the only sequels that is better than the original. It features evil Russian circus folk which really pays homage to the Golden Era of Cold War Sports movies more than a decade before AB Duece.

The second half of the greateset werewolf franchise in the history of film. This movie really smashed all of the crude werewolf stereotypes that were espoused in the first film, showing a sensitive and caring animal. It also had the same exact ending as the first film. You have to love producers with such little respect for there audience.
