Introduction
How long will it take to get me to 50? Hopefully not too long.
1
Pulp Fiction
2
Dumb and Dumber
3
Boogie Nights
This movie is simply amazing. Another one with so many memorable "lines" and characters. If its on HBO I'll usually watch.
4
Memento
archive.salon.com/ent/movies/feature/2001/06/28/m…
One of the most original and mind bending movies of all time. Spawned various websites just to make sense out of it all. Simply brilliant!
5
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
6
Talented Mr Ripley
7
Caddyshack
Still holds up well after all these years. The judge is sooo good.
8
Casino
9
The Departed
10
Good Fellas
11
Usual Suspects
12
13
14
Endless Summer II
I've seen this a million times. Gotta love "wingnut." Convinced me that someday I would be a surfer. someday
15
16
The Princess Bride
All timer here.
17
Indiana Jones III
My favorite of the three with #1 coming in a close second.
18
Goonies
the movie that created treasure map fantasies for a generation. Still pretty funny.
19
Lost in Translation
20
Fight Club
21
The Big Lebowski
22
Boiler Room
Ben Affleck has an AWESOME cameo. Solid movie all the way around. Great story, great actors.
23
Dazed and Confused
Between my senior year in high school and freshman year of college it was definitely my favorite movie. Kickin 70s soundtrack too. "I used to be such a sweet sweet thing, until they got a hold of me..."
24
American Beauty
25
Rounders
The poker scenes don't hold up as well since everyone knows a lot more about hold em. Like Teddy KGBs completely obvious tell that no one ever figured out before. But Damon, Malcovich, Norton are a murders row. If its on I ususally end up watching it.
26
Blazing Saddles
Jokes in here that you wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole today. Still funny as hell.
27
Die Hard
For action movies its hard to get better than this. Spawned one of the great catch phrases of all time "yippe ki yay MF." Alan Rickman is a great villain.
28
Good Will Hunting
I am a sucker for Matt Damon and Ben Affleck
29
Moulin Rouge
What can I say? I think the music. Love Nicole KIdman. Like the villain. Love the trippy absinthe fueled scenery.
30
The Godfather
Still stands up. Brando is great. The movie that showed all other gangster movies how to be a gangster.
31
The Godfather II
Even better than the first which is a rare feat to pull off. Pacino is superb as is most of the rest of the cast.
32
33
34
35
The Doors
One of the best character immersions ever. Loved this movie when it came out.
36
Christmas Vacation
37
38
39
High Fidelity
40
Being John Malkovich

Do the Right Thing
The best Spike Lee Movie in my opinion. Mookie!
43
Oh Brother Where Art Thou
44
Rudy
45
Coming to America
Pulp Fiction was something else, I kept thinking they put on anothr movie in the beginning, then figured out it was the same movie, and I had to explain it to my date, who still hadn't gotten it yet, lol.

Noah, check out The Illusionist with Edward Norton. I do movies and it is the best I've seen in awhile. Your 1 and 30/31 are right on. Ok, now you and my kids say I gotta check out the Big Lebowski.
