Introduction

There was a point in my life when my mom would buy MAD for me every week. There was always a movie parody, and usually it was for a film I was far too young to see. Here are some I remember:

1

Alien

Parodied as Alias. "Well, I'm the only one left alive on the station. I think I'll strip down to my underwear for no good reason."
2

Animal House

Parodied as "Abominable House". I vividly remember the parade scene with the monster car bursting out of the float.
3

A Clockwork Orange

Parodied as "A Crockwork Lemon". Since this one came out when I was 2 years old, I must have gotten hold of it later, or else there was a reprint. I remember reading it and not understanding a lot of what was going on.
4

The Omen

Parodied as "The Omenous". One of the priests had a line about how he was terribly injured when he "fell from grace". The joke was that Grace lived on the tenth floor.
