Introduction

I really like old movies. Here are a few of them and one new one I enjoyed.

1

An Affair to Remember

www.netflix.com/Movie/232349?trkid=73

I saw this when I was in college> I remember watching late at night at my grandparents house. It evokes sweet memories. Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr are so good in this movie. It is a happy ever after story for sure. Parts of it were highlighted in "Sleepless in Seattle" and that is why I like that movie too.

Madame X

Sort of a dark story, but very moving. What a tear jerker. It stars Lana Turner and john Forsythe. I also saw this at my grandparrents house.

Gone with the Wind

www.netflix.com/Movie/70020694?trkid=73

Went to this movie in Devils Lake. It was 30 minutes from my tiny town and was considerd the city(it probably had a population of 6,000) It may have been the first movie I went to with a boy. It was a wonderful movie. I remember it was very long and in the middle of it I had to go to the bathroom and was embarrased to leave my seat because I was very shy so I stuck it out until after. How dumb.

Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn A marvelous flick

Wait Util Dark

www.netflix.com/Search?v1=Wait+Until+Dark&ff2_sub…

Audrey Hepburn was nominated for a Academy Award for her portrayal of a blind woman who is terrorized by a criminal, Alan Arkin, who is after a stash of heroin that is planted in her. Very suspenseful. Saw this whenI was in college again in the city of Devils Lake.

I've heard many people praising the Illusionist. I'm going to have to put it on my netflix queue. What's not to like? You get Ed Norton (great actor) and Jessica Biel (great to look at)
