there's an intonation associated with this, and it's usually coming from a southern woman. means they're shocked.

i like the idea of being a "pill". keeps people on their toes.

my grandad richardson gets credit for this. any time you talk about anything he doesn't understand it "sounds chemical". this usually relates to travel, technology or anything he just wants to stop talking about.

another grandad richardson saying. said with a lot of conviction. "GOOD". again, usually a response when he wants the conversation to move on already!

i've used this a few time in san fran, and no one seems to know what i'm talking about. it's the perfect description when a group of people are upset or feathers are ruffled.

a "come to jesus talk" or "come to jesus moment" means a profound realization. packs a punch.
