Mother Teresa doubts God

I'm not the most religious person but this was interesting to me. The directness of her sentiments was a little surprising.

lifted from the comments on the video of it posted at tvsquad.
"I personally believe that US Americans are unable to do so, because, is that some people out there, in our nation, don't have maps, and I believe that our education, such as South Africa, and the Iraq, everywhere like, such as, and I believe that they should, our education over here, in the US should help the US, or um should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future, for our children."
I have no idea if this is accurate or complete.

Re: Seoufully transcribed..looks completely accurate!
Re:#3 - All persons of faith have periods of questioning and distance from God - even Jesus. It seems unfair we expect more from Mother Theresa whose entire life was spent ministering to the poorest of the poor. She was immersed in suffering. I would cry out for help and reassurance, also. Constantly!
And though, she worked through her pain by writing, crying out and questioning 'why,' she did not falter from the mission she felt given to her by God. Her lifetime of action, love and suffering was her testimony.

Eloquently stated Kathybelle. My sentiments exactly.

I wasn't surprised that she would have doubt or questioning of God. I was taken aback by the bluntness of her sentiments and that she evidently shared this in writing with a number of people. Like I said I'm not that religious but I've always believed that there was a God of some sort. This sounds pretty stark and detached:
“I am told God lives in me — and yet the reality of darkness and coldness and emptiness is so great that nothing touches my soul,”
