Introduction

This is the cream of the crop for the hottest nightclubs in Vegas as of 2008

Cherry at Red Rock

Ripe with hip, young singles, Cherry Nightclub is just begging to be plucked. With its sinfully-sweet surroundings and private outdoor pool area brought to life by nightclub aficionado Rande Gerber, it doesn’t take long to figure out why Cherry is hot hot hot.

Rain at the Palms

www.rainatthepalms.com/

Not the newest club in town, but still very popular. Expect long lines, a dancefloor surrounded by a water mote, go-go dancers on swings, and the occasional fire blast. A great place to come if you want to meet friendly visitors. There are plenty of VIP tables and sky boxes for preferred service.

Moon at the Playboy Club, Palms Hotel

playboy-las-vegas.n9negroup.com/index.cfm?page=ma…

Bunnies, blackjack and big ballers. Dubbed “the cleavage central of in the clouds,” The new Playboy Club atop The Palms’ Fantasy Tower drips with testosterone-infused indulgence. With diamond-encrusted walls, onyx chandeliers, rich reptilian seating, and Cavalli-clad Bunnies, this ain’t your father’s—or even your father’s father’s—Playboy fantasy. $14,000 gets you a three-liter double magnum bottles of Cristal, and a friendly visit from a hostess.

Studio 54 at MGM Grand

The iconic New York nightclub that defined the club scene in the 1970s is setting the standard in the ever-expanding Las Vegas nightclub scene of the new century. Half nightclub, half Cirque du Soleil act, Studio 54 also features “wall walkers” and dancers twirling above the bouncing dance floor. Look up, that’s confetti (not money) raining down on you.

Tryst at The Wynn

www.wynnlasvegas.com/

Tryst rocks a ninety foot waterfall and a lagoon-themed vibe. It is partially an open air club which gives the party-goers at Tryst a little extra freshness. The premium tables are those on the dance floor, near the kick-ass stripper pole. Those by the waterfall are pretty sweet too.

Body English as The Hard Rock

Long my favorite hotel in Vegas, the swanky club Body English is a place you shouldn't miss while partying in Las Vegas. Getting past the bouncers can be slightly problematic so don't hesitate to pull out a $100 for a palm to palm bribe. There are usually a truckload of celebrities rolling through this bumping dance club. Bottle service is a bit expensive too but what isn't in Vegas.

JET at the Mirage Las Vegas

This mega-club possesses 3 main music areas: a techno and trance floor, a hip-hop room, and the main room, which features some kick ass VIP tables. JET even ges over the top with the inevitable "V-VIP" room. The light and sound show, intermingled with stunning visuals, provide a "must be experienced" combination of futuristic entertainment.

TAO at the Venetian

www.taolasvegas.com/

The long entrance hall sets the tone; it usually features a startling display of lingerie-clad models painting henna tattoos on each another. The naked model lounging in the rose petal covered bathtub is another piece of eye candy. Tao has an outside terrace with Strip views, The Temple room and The Emperors Ballroom, eight private sky boxes with mini-bars and bottle service.

PURE at Ceasar's Palace

www.purethenightclub.com/

PURE is without a doubt a magnet for celebrities, high rollers and the like. A famous English clothier recently dropped about $200,000 here...in one night. Guests can generally enjoy their night for less than a $1000, but it’s not uncommon for high rollers to spend $20-50K for a big celebrity studded night out. There are 3 distinct environments within the two stories of decadence. At 36,000 sq. ft, PURE is like three venues in one, each featuring its own DJ, sound system and sexy style.
