Remember when you were a kid, things seemed so cool and possible. Here are some things that I wished were true, or used to think would come true.

Flying Cars
My Number One. I still think this is a possibilty.

Magical Creatures
Specifically Leprechauns. I loved thinking about them. I wish they were real! I want the Gold!

World Hunger solved by 2000
When i was in 6th grade we all ate rice for 1 week to see what it felt like to starve. We could drink 1 cup of tea and eat one bowl of rice. I really believed we could solve world hunger by doing this. I still wish people would lay down their weapons and start farming.

Man on Mars
I thought we'd have been to mars by the year 2000. It seemed attainable. It still does today. I want to see it happen.

I wanted this so bad in the 80's. I dunno did they ever get back together?

Battlestar Galacticans Really Find Earth
I wanted this so bad. I thought it was cool that Humans were out in space, trying to find us!

Have Bionic Legs
Steve Austin, a man barely alive...we can rebuild him, make him better, stronger faster.....cue music.

I suck so hard at this. I still want to attain the dream. Guitar Hero anyone?

Reviving the Dinosaurs
I thought about this a kid! I really wanted a pet dino.
I thought I would marry a prince charming on a white horse and that I would have the perfect job in journalism.
I thought we wouldn't have to walk places, that there would be people movers everywhere, like in TomorrowLand at Disney Land.
That we would have TV glasses. I've always worn glasses and thought little TVs in them for the cartoons would be perfect.
And I would have seen Unicorns and Jesus by now.

Watching the Jetson's I was sure that flying cars were in the not so distant future. Actually Robot maids too.
