Introduction
There have been a few lean years, and some scary years.
1
Hurricane Erin - August 1995
Our first; will always have a special place in our hearts.

2
Hurricane Earl - August 1998
Not much.

3
Hurricane Georges - September 1998
They scared us with this one for a while.

4
Hurricane Floyd - September 1999
This hurricane was on top of my daughter, her friend Robert from Australia, and me all the way from Sarasota to Boston. We stopped for pizza in North Carolina and ate at a place with a sign on the dorr that said, "Leave your gun in the car!" It between the three of us, we had more teeth than the other 40 people in the place combined. It was still better than driving in the storm.
Drove all the way up the East Coast; Robert didn't see a single sight.

A swing and a miss; strike 2.
