Introduction
I am not a hobby person; but there have been a few things that have caught my interest over the years.
1
Bowling
My dad managed bowling alleys when I was growing up. After an incident that permanently injured my sister my dad treated her with favor. She had no interest in bowling, but I used it in hopes that he would notice me. I was 6th in the state when I was about 12. I bowled my little ass off. He got me private lessons, the best equipment, GEEZ I was on the bowling team in HS - how lame is that? So, bowling was my first hobby.

Boys
Well, why not? Teen girls talk about, dream about, dress for, join stupid clubs for, walk home different ways for, drop things to be picked up by, finagle locker changes to be close to...TEEN BOYS. (Except for my daughter of course, she was and is too busy.)
I was no different; except I was on the damn bowling team. Believe you me, cool boys do not bowl. At least not in Phoenix in the late 60s.

The Beatles
Back in the day, I knew a lot about The Beatles. Paul, my favorite, has the same birthday I do; he is exactly 10 years older.
4
Cross Stitching
I loved doing this for years, especially the really small stitches. I had to give it up when my wrist and eyes gave out. Unfortunately, I gave it all as gifts and never made anything for myself. But I loved giving something I made to someone I loved.
This is the closest thing I've ever had to a real hobby.

I am a Google queen. People come to me all of the time asking me to find something for them. It's like a challenge or a puzzle. I know if I do just the right thing I will be successful.

OML
Recently I've been more of a 'commenter' that 'lister' - I'm not quite sure why. Just like Stella had to get her Groove back - I need to invigorate my imagination and enumerate some ideas.
Oh my gosh, Pam! My birthday is June 18, 1959!!! Paul has the same birthday as both of us! :-) LOL

My grandma taught me how to cross stitch a long time ago but I stopped. It was boring to me and I wanted to play with Barbies lol

So, Miss Daisy, we are like "McCartney Sisters" or something. This is just a little weird. I was born in 1952 and would be the older, wiser sister. You can be the cute, younger one, ok?

It is a little weird, isn't it?-- but fun too! And you certainly feel like a sister to me of some sort anyway! So do you think Paul M. will go around telling all his friends that he has the same birthday as Pam and gratefuldaisy now? LOL :-D
