Introduction
I think these are prescient thoughts to have as we make our way forward in life. These are some of my favorite teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. They seem to, in my humble opinion, be timeless.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born in Porbandar, India. He was the leader of the movement of independence from British rule. Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most respected spiritual and political leaders of the 20th century. In 1948 he was assassinated by a Hindu fanatic who opposed his tolerance for all creeds and religions. Gandhi is exalted by Indians as the father of the Indian nation. The revered name 'Mahatma', which means Great Soul was gvien to him by his people.
