Anthrophobia
My lastest trip to a Botanical Garden would surely be amiss were I to have this fear.

Chronophobia
Unfortunately, it is difficult to get away from this fear. Chonophobia is fear of "time." I guess that means past, present, and future. In short---good luck!

Ergophobia
My favorite phobia---ergophobia is the fear of work. It's often confused with boredome and surfing the Internet. I wonder if there's a fear of the Internet....

Iophobia
Wesley from The Princess Bride was not an iophobe, or, afraid of poison. In the classic scene where he outwits the Sicilian, he shows no fear of ingesting the poision.

Logophobia
Being afraid of words must be tough...worse than being afraid of numbers. Just like chronophobics, all I have to say is...good luck!

Phobophobia
The classic phobia to end all phobias. Fear of fear. Sounds pretty bad, but let's not forget FDR's famous words, "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself." So don't worry, phobophobia is completely American.

Great list, Cory! This reminds me of that old Charlie Brown and Lucy cartoon bit where Lucy had her own little psychiatrist booth that said "The Dr. is in" on the front of it. She dispensed advice for a nickel. Poor Charlie Brown had "pantophobia" --the fear of everything.
