Introduction
I found these at usa.gov
Like anything coming from the government, I'm not sure it can be trusted... but at least these make sense!
Lose Weight
What? And not fit into all of those new clothes you got for x-mas!! Bah!
Pay Off Debt
Because the banks gave out a lot of cash to people with shit credit, this is probably on a lot of people's list.
Save Money
Hard to do when you are dealing with #2
Get a Better Job
Essential for accomplishing #2 and 3, but requires # 7
Get Fit
That's easy, lay off the Doritos and triple you sexual activity.... and NO, masturbating doesn't count!
Eat Right
Less Doritos, more Pop Tarts :)
Get a Better Education
Or ANY education.
Drink Less Alcohol
My only response to this is why?
Quit Smoking Now
Yup... this is the time of year when pharmaceutical companies sell most of their patches and shitty tasting gum to people who are wasting their time because they know they should quit, but don't really want to.
Reduce Stress Overall
Try Prozac to make this goal achievable.
Reduce Stress at Work
HA!! Good luck with this one.
Take a Trip
Part of the reason people are in debt to begin with!!
Volunteer to Help Others
This one is made by people who usually can't even help themselves.
Ouch. I think I made like four of these.

ONE and FIVE are my big ones as you can tell by the capital letters.
I am adding: moving my hair appliances out of the Geezers sink before I go to work and making a point to say something really nice to someone who makes an effort every day.
Example: yesterday at Arby's the counter girl let me have a medium cup for my water instead of the stupid, tiny free cup and I told her she was my "being nice hero" for the day. She blushed. It made her happy and it was fun. Brie rolled her eyes. That was fun too.

A good list, and all doable. At some point in the past 30 years I have been in need of each and every one of these resolutions. Without too much hassle, except for quitting smoking, which was awful, I've checked off all but two; both of the stress ones. And I don't know if I want to reduce my stress levels. I kinda like the buzz. My wife tells me I am a stress distributor.
So, I want y'all to make check lists, and get busy. If I can do it, anyone can.
