Introduction
I was commenting on Noah's drinking quotes list, and it occured to me that no one had done a list of Dorothy Parker quotes. I first came accross her in the early 60s when one of my smart friends made an Algonquin Round Table reference; I chuckled and nodded knowingly, but had not a clue what he was talking about. So, I looked it up and wasn't too interested in the smart guys, but I also came accross Dorothy Parker as a founding member.
This woman paved the way for Irma Bombeck, and Molly Ivens, and this was at a time when women weren't supposed to be bawdy or funny.
