Introduction
Several years ago we found a pattern for a marshmallow gun and thought it would be fun to make for our nephew and his dad to play with. Since then The Geezer and I have cut, and assembled at least 200 weapons and shipped them all over the county. Give it a try and have fun!!!
1
Targets
Kids, dogs, significant others, inlaws, co-workers, room mates, dorm mates, cute guys at red lights (Brie's target of choice), just about anyone willing to get into battle.
2
Supplies
Two guns or you are just being mean, small marshmallows, frozen if you are really cruel and a clean up crew, the four-legged kind seem to work the best.

Make your gun

You will need 1/2" PVC sch. 40 pipe and the following fittings; 2 tees,
2 ells, 2 caps and 2 nickles.
Then cut the pipe as follows: 1 each 9", 6" & 3"; 2 each 4.5"
and 2.25".
Assemble so the 4.5" pieces are used as handles, put a cap on one end of each with a nickel in them.
Put and ell on top of one handle, then a 2.25" piece, then a tee pointing up, then another 2.25" piece, then a tee pointing down. Put the other handle in it pointing down. Put the 9" piece in the not up or down end of the tee for the barrel.
At the first tee, put the 3" piece going up, then the ell pointing back, then the 6" piece for the blow part.

Recipients
Kids in your family, dorm residents, office co-workers (keep one for yourself), teachers, wedding parties, birthday parties; let your imagination run wild. We gave them to the financial department at Brie's college.
5
Decorating
For every two guns we give a roll of five different colors of tape; usually found in the automotive dept. of a hardware type store. This is great for decorating and individualizing each weapon. One friend got camo tape from Bass Pro for his.
6
Yield
Oops, I forgot this part.
10' of pipe
10' of pipe

Time to shoot...
Warning, the marshmallows can sting a bit; don't shoot at faces or small children. Place marshmallow into 6" blower piece - BLOW HARD!!! ENJOY!!!
My sons own 2 of the 200 infamous marshmallow guns that Pam made and sent around the country. The boys are grown and gone now. I cannot find the guns.......They must've taken them with them when they left! For heavens sake...they left everything ELSE at home!!!!!!

This is excellent. It should be a chapter in the Most DAngerous Book for Boys. Are these the large marshmellows or small? I am printing off for a future reference. Every future grandma needs to know how to make a marshmellow gun.

you can also make them more blow gun like, and leave out the handles. A foot of pipe to an ell attached to 4 inches of pipe connected to another ell which is the blow piece.

Just load the mini mallow into the end of the ell and blow (careful not to inhale). If you don't glue any of the ends together and you have a swiveling mallow gun great for shooting around corners or even behind you.

We have a version of this out at the camp... only it fires huge potatoes and is powered by butane.
I'll try one of these for the less "damaging" battles :)
Thanks!
