Best SNES games

I remember stealing this from under the Xmas tree 5 days early, beating the game, rewrapping it, genuinely being thrilled to open it on Xmas morning, and then beating the game again.

Pure gameplay at its best. Why would Nintendo take away the cape for future Marios?

Final Fantasy VI should really be near the top of this list, but FFIV is what started it for me. Copying Excaliburs and then chucking them to deal 9999 damage? Classic.

I remember naming the female chars after girls I had crushes on at the time. My sister saw me playing and commented, "Yea, final fantasy alright."

Anyone remember the Sheng Long April Fool's Day joke in EGM? I spent HOURS trying to beat the game on 7 stars w/ each and every character w/out losing a round. Beating M.Bison w/ Dhalsim was particularly difficult.

Classic underrated 2d shooter in my book. Capcom really should've made more of these. I never got around to beating it on Hard or Super Hard, and I don't think i ever will even if I tried for the rest of my life.
