Introduction
The men's club I belong to is having a Turkey dinner tonight, it's an annual fund raiser for upkeep of the camp on Chamcook Lake.
Me being only one of two actual cooks in the camp mean that I'm doing some serious cookin! Thank God for some of the members wives doing the baking, they are angels!
Here's what's on the menu for today.
1
4 LARGE Turkeys
These are different then the usual turkey's, the usual turkey's being the camp members themselves.
2
70 lbs mashed potatoes
I'm cooking this using one of those Turkey fryer systems, makes life 100% easier!
3
Enought gravy to sink 4 large turkey's and 70 lbs mashed potatoes
4
12 lbs peas
5
12 lbs carrots
6
cranberry jelly.... LOTS of cranberry jelly
7
12 dozen fresh homemade rolls
8
Dressing. LOTS!
9
8 containers of whipped cream
10
LOTS of beer not for the dinner, that is for me :)
Sounds like you'll be plenty busy while you're waiting for the water to boil today! Good luck and have fun. Dinner sounds delicious. :-)

Sounds like you have a plan. I wouldn't be able to get it all ready at the same time. But I can smoke 90 turkeys in one day, and did for many years.

Where is that whip cream going? Foam for the beer?
