Introduction
A roundup of the most decadent and indulgent brownies found on the planet. Feel free to share yours and see if it makes the top list.
1
Outrageous Does It
www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0
The Barefoot Contessa brings us this classic recipe from the Chocolate Glob in the SoHo Charcuterie from way back in 1982. Apparently this was the same glob that now serves as one of the world’s most outrageous (and most loved) brownie recipes. With a whole pound of butter and almost two pounds of chocolate chips, I’m intrigued to try it. We’ll just see how outrageous these truly are. . .

Chocolate Truffle Dessert Brownies

Because it’s all about exceptionally rich and over-the-top creations. So a glance at this recipe tells me that it might reach the brownie snob radar as a must-heat-and-top-with-ice cream type of creation. The almost-flourless recipe and 2.5 sticks of butter ensure that this one’s no calorie-control creation. Add some dark chocolate nuggets to the mix for added decadence.

Peanut Butter-Nutella Brownies

If you haven’t indulged in the phenomena known as the peanut butter + nutella sandwich, don’t overlook the potential of baking the main ingredients into a brownie loaf instead. This recipe is a short and sweet journey to hazelnut chocolate bliss. Pick up some Ghirardelli cocoa for this one and chunky peanut butter to add texture; it's a sweet dip into fudge heaven.

Oatmeal Fudge Bars
Okay, so it’s not technically a brownie but these oaty sensations offer enough of a chocolate fix to outdo some of the most plain brownie varieties out there. I discovered these at a little espresso shop back in my old college days and I've been hooked since. The oatmeal cookie dough makes a sandwich of rich fudge frosting.
The homemade chocolate fudge is difficult to imitate, no matter how many people tell you to just use the pre-packaged kind. I think the sweetened condensed milk has something to do with it. . .

Double Fudge Brownies

Chocoholics delight in this ultimate brownie fantasy, a super-rich concoction that's more fudge than cake. Mix up the chocolate chips with dark and milk for added chocolate bliss. Glass of cold milk recommended.

Chunky Cheesecake Brownie
allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chunky-Cheesecake-Brownies/…
Some might say this is a match made in heaven; rich cream cheese swirled into the brownie batter, sitting atop a thick layer of fudge frosting and chocolate chips. It puts chocolate cheesecake to shame, and serves well with a huge dollop of whipped cream.

German Chocolate Brownie
allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chunky-Cheesecake-Brownies/…
Maybe it's the fresh pecans, the melted Kraft caramels, or just the one-of-a-kind German chocolate cake mix used in this recipe, but this is one (imported?) brownie recipe you won't forget anytime soon. Zap it in the microwave and top with whipped cream for nothing short of a flight to chocolate nirvana.

Whoa! Great list. Here is my recipe...
1 box fudgie chewy brownie mix
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup coarse English walnuts
1 cup white chocolate chips
mix and cook as directed on box. I add an extra egg if doubling.
Easy, good last minute recipe.
(I think the oatmeal fudge brownie above looks especially good!
