Specialize in rice bowls. Pick your favorite for under $5.00. Personal fav. Kung Pow Chicken or Shrimp. Very spicy, very good. Cool it down with a honeydew boba smoothy (my son's favorite).

Casa Manana - 1640 S. Broadway
Great authentic Mexican food. Excellant chili colorado and refrieds.

The Jetty - 135 E. Foster Rd.
Great Seafood. Their Calamari is excellant.

Splash Cafe - 197 Pomeroy Ave. in Pismo Beach
Ok, not in Santa Maria but worth the 20 min. drive. Hands down best clam chowder ever. Get it in the bread bowl with the seafood topping. Line is always around the corner and everything is good.

Amazing Pork silver noodles and their egg rolls are to die for.

Sunset Grill - on Fairpark off Skyway in the club house on the golf course
My little hide-away, snuggled next to the golf course. Excellant homemade soups daily (chicken tortilla is so very yummy). Really good texas toothpicks and jalapeno bottle caps (beer battered jalapeno's and onions deep fried). Great philly cheesesteak and breakfast. Haven't had anything I didn't like. Very good iced Tea.

Meatball sub is amazing, baked ham is my favorite. Great italian deli.

Orcutt Burger - 1785 S. Broadway or Clark and Bradley in Orcutt
Pastrami Burger. OMG, out of this world. Great burger with pastrami, who knew. Also have great chili fries.

Atari Ya (sushi) - 1551 Stowell Center Plaza
Pick a roll. Any roll. comes with Karaoke if you likey. My personal fav's are anything with eel and the rainbow roll.

The Hitching Post - 3325 Point Sal Rd. Casmalia
Just a few miles outside of Santa Maria. Amazing corn fed beef. The filet melts in your mouth like butter.

best chinese buffett in the area. They also serve a sweet and punjent shrimp that makes me cry it's soooo goood.

Roadhouse Grill - 1423 S. Bradley Rd.
I know it's a chain but their texas egg rolls and garlic mashers along with a great steak can't be beat.

Central City Broiler - 1520 N. Broadway
I love this place. Like the atmosphere and the food is always good. The Tuesday night all you can eat Alaskan King Crab legs is a must. (Unfortunately location is lousy as is the parking, don't park in the back at night.)

Great fish sandwich along with great shakes. Local favorite.

Great family owned resturant. Another local favorite. Excellant food. I love the garden scramble with homefries or the Eggs Benedict. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Mikado Japanese Restaurant - 209 Town Center West
good trendy sushi restaurant. Lunch menu is exceptional. Love it all.
