Introduction
Here in the great midwest I catch word of people frying things that I would never think of. So here are the few that I have seen and the few I have tasted.

Friend Mac'N Cheese
They come in little triangles perfect for dipping. You actually hear yourself getting fatter as you eat them.

Deep fried cream corn
Never tried it but my friend has and he loves them. He also loves the movie Roadhouse, so it makes sense.

Deep Fried Coke
Made just like funnel cake but with coke syrup and served in a coke cup drizzled with more coke syrup. They actually mix the syrup with flour & deep fry it. We have a lot of fairs & you have to keep raising the bar!

Deep Fried Lasagna

After you make it, let it cool in the fridge over night. Cut a slice, coat it in flour, egg wash, bread crumbs and then fry for about a minute. It just goes to show you can fry anything!

Deep Fried Breakfast Sausage Dipped in Pancake Batter
They serve these here at the ball park. I think they actually serve the syrup as a beverage when you order these.

Deep Fried Double Stuffed Oreos
I guess the extra cream was not enough.

Fried Pickles
My favorite so far. I prefer fried slices rather than fried spears. They go great with beer.

Fried Green Beans
TGIFridays is full of flair and now apparently friend green beans. I think they class it up by saying tempura battered green beans. I had no idea TGIF was so international.

holy shit, i miss me some deep fried creamed corn fritters. we used to get these at least once a week in our school lunches in tejas. also fried ravioli from the vandy cafeteria in college, with marinara dipping sauce. yum! great list... fried stuff.
actually, the deep fried coke thing makes me sick. but so does the thought of drinking a coke while eating a candy bar. i can just feel my teeth falling out.
uhm, i've never even heard of friend man 'n cheese, or fried man 'n cheese. is that when you take a dude and dip him in cheese and... wowr!
I've heard fried twinkies are pretty good. Gotta go to the fair now...
funnel cakes. are they fried? LOVE FRIED PICKLES. Especially at Gallaway. Dipped in Ranch. Oh yea.
You could fry anything and it would be good provided you dipped it in ranch dressing. For Superbowl last year, we beer boiled some cheese brats, then grilled them, then battered and fried them. They didn't turn out too well, were overly greasy, and seriously put a hurtin' on my stomach.
Fried Okra! My favorite thing at Lamberts... not that I go there.
And I agree with Noah that fried pickles at Galloway, dipped in ranch, are an amazing thing. Ever smear that on anyone's face, by any chance?
