Introduction
We are a family of Amazon women.
I wouldn't trade, NOW...but there were some traumatic moments growing up to be a 50-ft. woman.

Beds were too short.

Movies always tried to charge the adult price.

You could not ride the kiddie rides even though you were a kiddie.

The only boy taller in middle school had flunked two years.

Boys were NEVER as tall as they said.

EVERYONE thought you had to play basketball, and they wouldn't let you be a cheerleader.

Bathroom sinks were very low

It was difficult to blend in.

You were sometimes in a class by yourself.

Group hugs could be very embarrassing...

and so could slow dancing.

No one wanted to share the beach.

People automatically thought you are stuck-up.

You had to exercise extra caution around small pets and children.

You had to buy double tanning bed sessions.

People tried to live in your shoes....

or float in them.

People made movies about you.

The air was (and still is) thin at high altitudes.

You JUST needed more space.

You got called very ungirly names.

But when all is said and done, the view is GREAT.
